     Biblos 

    É considerada a cidade mais habitada interruptamente na história da humanidade. Foi criada há 5000 anos A.C. pelos Fenícios , inclusive o porto era considerado por eles , como uma localização excelente para navegação e fazer as transações comerciais. Biblos recebeu esse nome pelos Gregos , consideravam o Papyro Egípcio , e ficou "Byblos" orinágio do "Papiro". As palavras Biblioteca e Bíblia são originárias de Biblos. Biblos , foi conquistadas pelos povos do Mar, dominadas pelos Árabes, empossadas pelas potências Européias na época das Cruzadas, inclusive foi dominada pelo Império Otomano em 1516. Em 1984 , foi reconhecida como Patrimônio Histórico pela UNESCO. O Castelo de Biblos , os Templos Fenícios e a Igreja de São João Batista são grandes atrações.

    Byblos

    It is considered to be the most inhabited city in the history of humanity.
